第31回日本木材学会中四国支部大会において、大学院農学専攻2年生 山本純士さんが研究発表賞（口頭部門）を受賞しました。
医学科5年生間崎護さんが令和元年6月16日開催のECCのホノルル市長杯第49回全日本青少年英語弁論大会大学の部において優勝しました。
令和元年9月9日～13日に開催されたMarine Biotechnology Conference 2019において、愛媛大学連合農学研究科博士課程２年(高知大学配属）の本間千穂さんが、学生を対象としたポスター賞であるMarine Open Innovation(MaOI) Institute Student Poster Awardを受賞しました。
A research paper by a group of 10 researchers from eight institutions in Japan, including Hiroki Matsui, Specially Appointed Assistant Professor, and Professor Minoru Ikehara of the Comprehensive Research Center for Marine Core Studies at Kochi University, was published in the academic journal *Newsletters on Stratigraphy* on September 20, 2019.
