*1 Funding for principal investigator personnel costs is not mandatory, but we ask for your cooperation to the extent possible.

● Full-scale, robust, and sustainable industry-academia-government collaboration involving top leadership from universities, national research and development corporations, and companies
● “Full-scale joint research” in which headquarters (e.g., Industry-Academia Collaboration Headquarters) at universities and national research and development corporations establish cross-departmental collaboration frameworks, explore and share visions for the future society together with companies, and pool various resources by transcending barriers between basic and applied research, as well as between the humanities and science/engineering fields.
