Medicine ProgramBased on an educational philosophy centered on fostering high ethical standards and rich humanity, as well as the acquisition of advanced medical knowledge and skills, and in close collaboration with Kuroshio Science Programand Applied Science Program, we have established an educational and research framework that incorporates the paradigms of both the natural sciences and the human sciences from our two departments. Through this framework, we aim to train professionals capable of advancing medicine and healthcare rooted in the regional characteristics of Kochi Prefecture, outstanding medical researchers recognized internationally, and excellent clinical specialists (excellent physicians) with a research mindset. We strive to achieve high-level medical research and healthcare with a broad foundation that can flexibly address diverse societal needs.
