Mirai Fund
The Kochi University Mirai Fund was established in December Reiwa 7. Drawing strength from the “empathy” of our supporters, we aim to shape the “future” of students, researchers, and the university. Your donations will help us foster talent that contributes to the local and international communities and advance research.
Medical SchoolDevelopment Fund
The Kochi University Medical SchoolDevelopment Fund aims to promote the philosophy of Medical School—namely, “fostering compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals” and “creating an academic culture closely tied to community healthcare (contributing to the community)”—by supporting initiatives and developing and enhancing the environment necessary to enrich education and research in medicine and nursing in accordance with this philosophy, and to fulfill the university’s role in contributing to the community.
Regarding Bequests
Kochi University introduces affiliated financial institutions to assist individuals who wish to bequeath a portion of their valuable assets to the university in the future (through a bequest in their will) to support education, research, and community service activities. (Assets bequeathed to the university are tax-exempt and not subject to inheritance tax.)
Kochi University Used Book Donation Drive
This is an initiative in which you can donate books, DVDs, and other items you have finished reading or watching, and donate the proceeds from their appraisal to Kochi University.
Donations will be used to enhance the university’s educational and research activities, as well as its social contribution initiatives.
Crowdfunding
Crowdfunding is a portmanteau of “crowd” and “funding.” It is a system that allows individuals to share their activities and dreams online and raise funds from people who resonate with their vision or wish to support their efforts.
