Kochi University hosted the Japan–Taiwan Alliance Leadership Meeting and International Research Meeting in Kochi on September 4, 2025.

　The event brought together participants from six Taiwanese universities and four Japanese universities to promote academic exchange and social practice related to regional revitalization. Research presentations and practical case reports were held on topics such as regional revitalization, disaster prevention, cultural practice, environmental issues, health and welfare, and university collaboration.

　2025年9月4日（木）、高知大学では、「日台大学地方連携及び社会実践連盟（日台連盟）」による首脳会議および国際研究会が高知市内で開催されました。

　本イベントは、台湾6大学・日本4大学が連携し、地方創生に関する学術交流と社会実践を推進する国際的な取組です。今回の開催は、2024年9月に高知大学が日台連盟の会長校に就任したことを契機に初の日本開催として実現しました。

　なお、日台連盟には、黒潮圏関係教員である赤池慎吾准教授が継続的に関わっており、本イベントも同連盟の活動に関連する取り組みとして紹介します。
