The 8th Sukumo Bay University public online roundtable, “Nankai Trough Great Earthquake and Community Disaster Prevention,” was held on September 30, 2025, as part of the common education course “Tosa no Umi no Kankyogaku: Thinking from the Sea of Kashiwajima.”

　The roundtable discussed disaster-prevention challenges in Kashiwajima and coastal communities, using the disaster-prevention initiatives of Kuroshio Town as a starting point for discussion.

　2025年9月30日（火）、高知大学の共通教育科目「土佐の海の環境学：柏島の海から考える」の一環として、公開オンライン座談会（ミニシンポ）第8回宿毛湾大学「南海トラフ大地震とコミュニティ防災」が開催されました。

　本座談会では、南海トラフ地震が発生した際の対応における地域コミュニティの役割と課題について、黒潮町の防災への取り組みを起点として議論しました。

　なお、本イベントは黒潮圏総合科学専攻の新保輝幸教授が関係する「土佐の海の環境学」に関連する取り組みとして紹介します。
