A first-grade student Zahra Zandvakili, a privately funded international student from Iran, has been selected as a scholarship recipient of the Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship Foundation.

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide scholarships to international students who will become bridges between their home countries and Japan and play an active role in the international community in the future. Students are selected based on their motivation and ability, especially in terms of (1) enthusiasm and excellence in academics, (2) cross-cultural understanding, and (3) communication skills.

イランからの私費外国人留学生として入学し，学位研究を進めている博士課程1年生のZahra Zandvakiliさんが，公益財団法人ロータリー米山奨学会の奨学生として採用されました。

同奨学会では，将来母国と日本との懸け橋となって国際社会で活躍する留学生を奨学することを目的としています。特に（1）学業」に対する熱意や優秀性，（2）異文化理解や（3）コミュニケーション能力の点で意欲や能力に優れている学生が選考されています。
