Research by Ms. Ma. Marivic Capitle Pepino, a third-year doctoral student in the Kuroshio Science Program, and collaborators was published in PeerJ on April 16, 2024.

　The study, conducted under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Tomoyo Okumura and Prof. Satoshi Kubota, clarified differences in gene expression between male and female Japanese precious coral Corallium japonicum during gametogenesis. Mr. Sam Edward Manalili was also listed as a co-author.

　黒潮圏総合科学専攻博士課程3年生のMa. Marivic Capitle Pepinoさんを筆頭・責任著者とする研究成果が、2024年4月16日付でPeerJ誌に掲載されました。

　本研究は、奥村知世准教授および久保田賢教授の指導の下で進められ、アカサンゴCorallium japonicumの繁殖期における雌雄間の遺伝子発現の差異を明らかにしたものです。Sam Edward Manaliliさんも共著者として掲載されています。
