Ms. Himeko Hirata, a second-year student in the Graduate School of Agriculture and Marine Science, received the Excellent Oral Presentation Award at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Ichthyological Society of Japan, held at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology from November 21 to 24, 2025.

　Her presentation was entitled “熱帯性植食魚ナガニザとサザナミハギの温帯域への分布拡大要因の解明.” Prof. Yohei Nakamura, a faculty member related to Kuroshio Science, was listed as one of the presenters.

　大学院農林海洋科学専攻2年の平田姫子さんが、令和7年11月21日から11月24日に東京海洋大学で開催された2025年度日本魚類学会年会において、優秀口頭発表賞を受賞しました。

　平田さんは、「熱帯性植食魚ナガニザとサザナミハギの温帯域への分布拡大要因の解明」と題した口頭発表を行い、その学術的価値の高い研究が評価され、本賞を受賞しました。発表者には、黒潮圏関係教員である中村洋平教授も含まれています。
