Undergraduate Program

Kochi University offers education across a wide range of specialized fields, from humanities and social sciences to medicine and agricultural, forestry, and marine sciences, through its six faculties and one graduate school. It cultivates individuals with a global perspective while remaining rooted in the local community. General Education

Our university refers to the education centered on liberal arts education for all students as "Common Education." This is distinct from the specialized education offered by each faculty and aims to equip students studying and graduating from our university with the knowledge and various abilities we wish them to acquire in common. Specifically, it focuses on developing skills such as "problem-solving ability," "communication skills," "presentation skills," "cross-cultural understanding," and "information literacy."
