A Ph. D. student from Okayama University has implemented her research at MaCRI by utilizing Joint Usage/Research system. Her research paper won the “Geochemical Journal Student Paper Award” at the 70th Geochemical Society of Japan.

Dr. Yuji SANO, the director of MaCRI, was selected as one of the recipients of the Norman L. Bowen Award and Lecture by the American Geophysical Union on September 15th, 2023. The award ceremony and commemorative lecture meeting will take place at the AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco between December 11th and 15th, 2023. The AGU boasts approximately 600,000 members and is one of the world's largest academic societies in the field of Earth Science.
