Overview

To comprehend biological functions at the molecular level, understanding the three-dimensional structure of biomolecules, such as proteins, becomes imperative. Moreover, in the context of treating and preventing diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, arising from conformational changes in proteins, gaining insights into the structures of these relevant proteins becomes exceedingly important. In our laboratory, we are actively engaged in developing novel methods that employ a combination of biophysical, structural biology, and computational approaches to elucidate the structures of intrinsically disordered proteins.

Research areas

  • Acceleration of NMR chemical shift prediction for peptides
  • Analysis of molecular recognition mechanism of intrinsically disordered proteins
